So, nun geht´s wirklich endlich los! Ich werde hier an jedem Tag während der Adventszeit einen Metal Song mit passendem Video bei Youtube (oder wo auch immer) posten. Dieser hat jeweils im Songnamen oder im Namen der Band was mit dem aktuellen Datum (Adventstürchen-Nr. X) zu tun – am 2.12. wäre also “Song 2″von Blur eine Möglichkeit (wenn´s denn Metal wäre ). Bis 5 Minuten vor zwölf kann jeder einen Tipp im Kommentarbereich des Vortags hinterlassen, welcher Song oder von welcher Band es ein Song sein könnte – heute habt ihr also für den 1. Dezember leider nur noch ein paar Stunden Zeit (kleiner Tipp: ist dafür auch nicht sonderlich schwer..).

Die “Adventstürchen” werd ich jeweils um 00:01 öffnen, d.h. der Post wird also immer automatisch veröffentlicht. Alle Teilnehmer mit korrekter Antwort bekommen dann an dem Tag einen Punkt. Und die 3 Leute mit den meisten Punkten am 24.12. bekommen einen Preis geschenkt (bei gleicher Anzahl wird gelost)! Zu Nikolaus wird´s aber auch schon eine Überraschung geben!

Ich habe u.a. ein paar Goodies aus der Modern Rebellion Collection von As I Lay Dying-Sänger Tim Lambesis in Amiland geordert, deren Erlöse der gemeinnützigen Organisation “Trees Of Glory” zur Unterstützung von Projekten in Äthiopien zu Gute kommen (ist also quasi eine Spende von mir, aber ihr staubt vielleicht die Artikel dafür ab). Die Backpacks selber werden aber auch noch ein paar nette Dinge beinhalten (!) – was wird jetzt noch nicht verraten. Hier noch ein paar Hintergrundinfos zur Collection:

Ach ja, wer mich noch nicht kennt – zu meinem musikalischen Präferenzen sei vielleicht noch gesagt: ich bin großer Groove, Death, Melodic Death, Thrash, Black, Sludge, Dark, Folk, Viking, Progressive und Modern Metal als auch Metalcore+Deathcore Fan, daher werden es größtenteils Songs aus diesen Genres sein. True, Power, Speed oder klassischer Heavy Metal wird bei mir eher nicht vorkommen, so 2-3 Songs sind vielleicht eher in Richtung Rock/Punk/Ska, aber der Rest wird aus einem meiner präferierten Metal-Genres kommen.

Werd übrigens durchaus auch mehr posten als nur den einen Songnamen und den Link zum Video. Mein Anspruch ist sowohl mehr Hintergrundinfos zu den Songs und Bands zu geben, als auch (grad bei einigen Metalsongs ja schwierig und schade) – die Lyrics verständlich zu machen und deshalb mitzuveröffentlich bzw. zumindest nen Link dazu anzubieten.

Ich würd mich freuen wenn ihr mitmacht und Freude daran habt – meinereiner hatte jedenfalls schon beim Raussuchen der Songs eine Menge Spaß und es würde mich noch mehr freuen, wenn ich das Ganze an möglichst viele weitergeben kann. Die Kommentar-Sektion unter diesem Post ist also offen für Euren Tipp zum 1. Dezember – was könnte da wohl kommen?

So, heute nun Song Posting #1 auf ZeitReife – und damit gleich auch mal ein Test für die Möglichkeiten des aktuellen WordPress-Themes hier. Es kommt alles rein, was ich in Zukunft plane, bei jedem Song Posting zu tun: Infos zum Künstler sowie die Lyrics mitzuposten! Genauso wichtig wie die Musik an sich sind die Künstler dahinter sowie deren Botschaften und Texte, die in den Liedern enthalten sind.
